About the Role
Triple Whale is looking for a Sales Solutions Engineer (SSE) to own the full spectrum of technical customer engagement, from pre-sales discovery through post-sale implementation. This high-impact role requires a customer-focused technologist who can partner with sales teams and handle technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as the technical lead during sales cycles, owning discovery, technical scoping, demo support, and solution validation
- →Translate customer challenges into scalable solutions using Triple Whale’s platform
- →Differentiate against competitors through solution design and expertise in ecommerce analytics
- →Deliver technical narratives connecting product capabilities to business outcomes
- →Lead onboarding and implementation for new customers, including integration of Triple Whale’s JavaScript pixel, APIs, and server-side infrastructure
- →Work with customer engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments
- →Build and execute structured implementation plans using Python, SQL, and JavaScript
- →Diagnose and resolve technical issues across authentication, data flows, and API integrations
- →Advocate for customer needs by providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams
Requirements
- ✓5+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, ideally within SaaS, MarTech, or data platforms
- ✓Demonstrated success supporting both pre-sales and post-sale technical delivery for mid-market and enterprise customers
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, SQL, and scripting (Python and/or Node.js)
- ✓Excellent communication skills for both technical and commercial conversations
- ✓Solid understanding of ecommerce ecosystems, including Shopify, attribution models, and modern cloud infrastructure
- ✓Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, high-growth environment
