Contract Manager Pre & Post Contract – Energy & Natural Resource at TurnerTownsend

About the Role

We are seeking a Contract Manager to support our client on the delivery of an exciting Carbon Capture Offshore/Onshore project. This role requires deep knowledge of end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management to maximize value throughout the contracting process.

Key Responsibilities

• →Provide deep knowledge and understanding of end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management, ensuring value is maximized throughout the category and contracting process.
• →Source and procure highly complex contracting requirements with high criticality impact, ensuring optimum value within a defined service.
• →Lead and evaluate competitive tender negotiations with major suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.
• →Manage major capital project sourcing activities in accordance with Client’s HSES, Energy Policies, Standards & Procedures.
• →Build and maintain strong networks in the market, being fully aware of forthcoming opportunities and supplier developments.
• →Assist in drafting new frameworks/Call-off agreements to ensure organization requirements are fully met.
• →Support the development of prequalification and evaluation criteria and evaluations of all packages.
• →Ensure that all elements of scope of work are well included in the Contract documentation.
• →Support the commercial evaluation process of bids and adhere to organization’s policies and procedures.
• →Work as a Business Partner with key internal stakeholders, managing all contracting activity.
• →Identify opportunities for, lead and evaluate competitive tenders and proposals for the supply of goods and services.
• →Report changes and updates through proactive governance.
• →Lead on assessment of contract variations in line with contractual provisions.
• →Review Supplier’s contract submittals and arrange responses within contractual timescales.
• →Ensure contract compliance throughout the duration of the contract, including monitoring deliverables, managing variations and claims, and resolving disputes.
• →Conduct data analysis and reporting, collecting and collating data for forecasting and planning purposes plus record-keeping purposes.
• →Maintain extensive record-keeping supporting ongoing tender administration and purchase requisition/purchase order governance.
• →Support procurement activities on current frameworks to ensure immediate requirements are met in a timely manner.
• →Prepare and manage procurement timelines and plans for the whole duration of the project.
