About the Role
A Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing complex contractual arrangements and work packages of varying size and strategic importance. This role ensures effective governance across the full contract lifecycle and requires a flexible working approach.
Key Responsibilities
- →Negotiate contract T&C’s for projects of significant value (from £20M to £500M) and subsequent commercial management of the delivery phase
- →Negotiate contract prices and ensure all contract prices can be substantiated and provide value for money to consumers
- →Demonstrate stakeholder engagement and management skills, including the ability to influence, lead, and resolve disputes
- →Manage cost and forecasts via regular cost reporting and ensure change management procedures are adhered to
- →Provide robust post-contract commercial management to support project goals and objectives
- →Comply with all safety policies and procedures, promoting safety and safe working practices
- →Support the Procurement and Commercial Manager in providing a world-class procurement and commercial service
