About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Project Director to join our Building Consultancy Services team. The successful candidate must be an Authorized Person (AP – Surveyor or Architect) and will act as AP signatory on statutory submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as AP signatory for statutory submissions including A&A plans, general building plans, AP certificates, Forms, confirmations, and declarations
- →Oversee compliance with Buildings Ordinance, subsidiary regulations, codes of practice, and government requirements
- →Lead all stages of project delivery for building works, A&A, maintenance, and upgrading projects
- →Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality to meet client expectations
- →Manage Government maintenance and repair term contracts, public-sector A&A works, and consultant commissions
- →Provide expertise in building pathology, A&A feasibility, repair strategies, lifecycle planning, and regulatory matters
- →Lead and mentor project managers, surveyors, and technical staff
- →Support resource planning and internal capability development
Requirements
- ✓Must be an Authorized Person (AP – Surveyor or Architect)
- ✓Experience in leading consultancy services for project management
- ✓Strong understanding of statutory submissions and compliance requirements
- ✓Ability to provide AP-level technical direction to project teams and clients
- ✓Experience in managing government-related contracts and liaising with government departments
