About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking Project Managers to join our Energy & Natural Resources division during a period of significant growth. This role involves leading Project Management Commissions for a nuclear client, focusing on end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
→Provide support on major Project Management Commissions
→Ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets
→Advise at a strategic level at the project inception stage
→Prepare and maintain definitions of project requirements
→Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems
→Prepare and maintain schedules of activity, including the master project plan
→Manage the development of the project in accordance with approved plans and targets
→Develop and implement resource plans and procurement of resources
→Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team
→Monitor and apply performance management techniques
→Manage the change control process
→Develop and agree budgets and control forecast and actual costs
→Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client
→Identify and monitor project risks and plan and implement risk mitigations
→Prepare formal project progress and other reports
→Take a leading role in interfacing with the client, other consultants, and stakeholders
→Advise the client regarding Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks
→Plan for and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues
→Manage staff where appropriate
→Ensure key information and learning from each project is input into the internal database
→Identify and act upon ways to improve internal systems and processes

Requirements

✓Experience in project management, particularly in the Energy & Natural Resources sector
✓Ability to lead and manage large or complex projects
✓Strong strategic advisory skills
✓Excellent planning and organizational abilities
✓Proficiency in developing and managing project budgets
✓Knowledge of project governance, processes, and systems
✓Experience in managing risks and implementing risk mitigations
✓Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✓Understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental issues
✓Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
