About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver projects in the Corporate Occupier / Office Fit-out space across various sectors in Sydney. This role involves managing projects for global corporate clients and requires experience with client-side delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- βEstablish overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- βIdentify and ensure appropriate line managers are aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues
- βEstablish effective project governance, processes, and systems
- βCreate detailed project plans
- βManage the change control process
- βMonitor and advise on project finances
- βManage the flow of project information between the team and client
- βPrepare formal project progress and other reports
- βEnsure key information and learning from each project is entered into the internal database
- βEnsure prompt client invoicing and monitor project financial status
- βIdentify ways to improve internal systems and processes
- βTake a leading role in interfacing with clients and consultants
- βAdhere to SOX control responsibilities
- βComply with Turner & Townsendβs Business Management Systems
Requirements
- βExperience in project management within the construction industry
- βKnowledge of different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
- βStrong understanding of project finances and change control processes
- βAbility to establish and maintain effective project governance and systems
- βExperience with client-side delivery and working with global corporate clients
- βFamiliarity with Turner & Townsendβs Business Management Systems
- βCommitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
