Key Responsibilities
- →Review and validate plumbing and piping design drawings, material specifications, and shop drawings submitted by contractors
- →Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
- →Provide engineering solutions for design issues, clashes, or site constraints
- →Coordinate with the design team for RFIs, design changes, and technical clarifications
- →Monitor daily site progress to ensure installation works are executed per approved drawings and quality standards
- →Conduct inspection and testing of piping systems, including pressure testing, flushing, chlorination, hydrostatic testing, and leak testing
- →Verify material deliveries and ensure they meet approved specifications
- →Conduct regular QA/QC checks to ensure high-quality installation of domestic water systems, wastewater and stormwater systems, pumping systems, fuel piping, cooling tower or chiller piping, and fire protection piping
- →Liaise with civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines for interface coordination
- →Attend technical meetings with contractors, vendors, and client representatives
- →Coordinate with equipment suppliers for installation requirements and technical support
Requirements
- ✓Experience in plumbing and piping design
- ✓Knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements
- ✓Ability to provide engineering solutions for design issues
- ✓Strong coordination and communication skills
- ✓Experience with QA/QC processes
- ✓Familiarity with various piping systems including domestic water, wastewater, stormwater, pumping, fuel, cooling tower, and fire protection
