About the Role
The Project Manager will support the Project and Programme Management Lead in executing project delivery for major Rail programmes. This role requires integrating project management skills with an existing team to ensure plans, tracking, and delivery against budget.
Key Responsibilities
- โSupport the execution of project delivery for major Rail programmes
- โManage significant work packages to defined time, cost, quality, and output benefits
- โCoordinate activities of all functions to deliver projects within timelines and costs
- โProvide project management support for mobilisation and onboarding of Client Partner resources
- โEstablish and develop the Directorate PMO and Information Management Framework
- โAssist with procurement of Core Contracts and related documentation
Requirements
- โ10+ yearsโ project management experience with at least 5 years in high-value metro rail projects
- โExperience in cost management for multiple projects and developing standard operating procedures
- โExperience driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies, and standards
- โGood understanding of design and delivery requirements for technically complex projects
- โExperience dealing with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- โKnowledge of quality management and process improvement practices
