About the Role
We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical leader within our DevOps organization. This hands-on leadership role focuses on translating strategic platform direction into reliable, scalable infrastructure capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Architects to implement and operationalize platform strategy
- →Lead technical design and delivery of platform capabilities across serverless-first AWS workloads and Kubernetes (EKS) environments
- →Drive systemic improvements that reduce incident frequency and severity
- →Improve CI/CD automation and deployment workflows
- →Mentor senior engineers and elevate platform engineering standards
- →Contribute to Kubernetes cluster design evolution and networking patterns
Requirements
- ✓Experience with AWS serverless architectures and EKS environments
- ✓Strong understanding of CI/CD automation and deployment workflows
- ✓Knowledge of observability standards (logging, metrics, tracing)
- ✓Experience with SRE frameworks and incident response practices
- ✓Ability to guide platform implementation patterns and reusable modules
- ✓Experience with cost visibility, tagging standards, and platform guardrails
- ✓Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering performance improvements
