ABOUT THE ROLE
TwelveLabs is at the forefront of video AI technology, transforming how businesses understand and utilize their video data by leveraging our multimodal video foundation model.
As an Account Executive for APAC region, you will have a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy and revenue growth across the region. With Korea as the primary market, you will drive expansion across Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and the broader APAC region. Korea is a key growth market for TwelveLabs, with strong engagement from leading organizations including SBS, Getty Images, and UNICEF, while globally we work with media and sports leaders such as NFL, MLSE, Protege, and Air.
Media & Entertainment is our strongest and most established vertical in APAC, but the opportunity extends well beyond it. You will also identify and develop new opportunities in emerging areas where video AI is creating real value, including ad tech, e-commerce, sports, gaming, and more.
This role goes beyond traditional sales execution. We are looking for a business developer who deeply understands customer problems, works hand-in-hand with the product team to shape solutions, and takes full ownership of the deal from first conversation to signed contract. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Manage the entire sales cycle to win new business and drive revenue. Initiate the first relationships with customers, deeply understand their business needs, educate them on video foundation models, negotiate contracts, and help them succeed with TwelveLabs.
- Own and develop key accounts in Korea while building pipeline across APAC. Manage priority accounts in Korea and expand into Japan, Southeast Asia, and beyond, adapting your approach to the unique business culture and decision-making processes of each market.
- Develop and validate GTM strategy. Work with the APAC leadership team to bring cutting-edge multimodal video models to market, testing and iterating on the right approach for each market.
- Leverage partner ecosystems. Work alongside the Partnerships team to activate co-sell opportunities with AWS and other cloud partners and APAC resellers to accelerate deal velocity.
- Collaborate closely with our product team. Share customer feedback and insights to inform our product roadmap, and deliver practical solutions for customers even in the face of technical limitations.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a strong foundation in Media & Entertainment, with an emphasis on advertising, and the range to expand into adjacent verticals, with a track record of selling in Korea and broader APAC markets.
- Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, forming your own hypotheses, testing them fast with conviction, building trust across customers and internal stakeholders, and seeing deals through to completion.
- Strong partnership collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cloud providers and systems integrators to accelerate customer adoption.
- Understanding of APAC market dynamics. Familiarity with regional differences in business culture, decision-making processes, and buying behaviors across Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
- Native Korean proficiency with strong English communication skills, able to engage confidently with both local customers and global stakeholders.
- Based in Seoul with willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, and industry events across the APAC region.
