About the Role
We're looking for a Director of Product Engineering to lead TwelveLabs’ agentic platform and related developer experience. This role involves owning flagship end-user applications that validate and accelerate the platform, building and leading multiple engineering teams, and shaping the technical direction of the product stack.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the development of TwelveLabs' video agent platform, including video ingestion, indexing, and agent orchestration runtime
- →Own the end-to-end delivery of flagship end-user applications from concept through launch and iteration
- →Build, lead, and grow engineering teams, hiring exceptional talent and coaching leaders
- →Set and enforce a high quality bar across the stack, including testing strategy, performance, and reliability
- →Collaborate with Product, Design, and Research to define product direction
Requirements
- ✓12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓7+ years of engineering leadership experience leading multiple teams
- ✓Experience building intelligent or agentic systems and shipping polished end-user experiences
- ✓Strong system design instincts and excellent people leadership skills
- ✓Demonstrated experience building high-velocity engineering cultures
