About the Role

We are looking for a Planning Manager to join the Strategic Operations pillar within Sales, Operations and Enablement at Twilio. This role focuses on leading target-setting processes and aligning customer segmentation with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead the annual and semi-annual target-setting cycles, defining top-down targets while ensuring bottom-up feasibility
→Develop and maintain customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities using various models
→Identify key points in the customer journey to set targets that encourage customer movement to higher-value segments
→Work with Sales and Finance to ensure targets align with Twilio’s broader strategic goals
→Present target proposals to senior leadership with data-backed narratives
→Refine the planning process to improve projection accuracy

Requirements

✓6+ years of experience in sales operations or revenue operations for a CPaaS organization
✓Deep understanding of key metrics for a GTM organization
✓Completed 2 rounds of annual planning within a GTM organization
✓Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools
✓Highly collaborative with the ability to build partnerships with GTM, Finance, and Product teams
✓Strong project management and process mapping skills
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✓Strong interpersonal skills including active listening and influencing abilities
