About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team at Unico, the world's largest identity verification network. This role focuses on leading and developing a high-seniority engineering team, ensuring the consolidation of SafeApp as a scalable platform integrated into the IDCloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Help team members evolve their careers through 1:1s, continuous feedback, performance evaluations, goal setting, and individual development plans
- →Lead people with different levels of maturity and hard-skills
- →Promote value and impact generation within the team, translating product requirements into functional requirements
- →Engage the team in resolving complex problems in back-end/front-end/mobile systems
- →Support the team in maintaining and continuously improving their systems, promoting architectural evolutions aligned with business needs
- →Contribute to solution architecture projects, acting as a technical ambassador
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience in people management, especially senior teams
- ✓Previous experience leading engineering teams in growth or transformation contexts
- ✓Experience with agile methodologies, backlog management, and prioritization
- ✓Solid vision of software quality, QA practices, and continuous improvement
- ✓Ability to influence technically without micromanagement
