The Team:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Finance, this role serves as a key member of the Unison finance team. The candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of the financial reporting functions while also working closely with M&A, Origination, Human Resources, Legal, and senior management; The successful candidate will work closely with these teams to optimize financial performance of the company. This role will aid in providing timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, treasury management, and assist with month end close activities. They will support a variety of recurring financial processes as well as projects and ad hoc analyses.
Ideal candidates should have a degree in finance and 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multi-entity global structure. Autonomous, resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset will help you succeed in this position. Hybrid for this role means being in the office in Woburn, MA for a minimum of 3 days a week.
The Job:
β’ Partner with business leaders help them understand expenses and make informed strategic decisions.
β’ Portfolio performance analysis.
β’ Assist in month end close and forecasting processes.
β’ Annual budget and updates; Capital planning; Monthly financial close; Business forecasting, as appropriate.
β’ Prepared managerial reporting including operational KPIs.
β’ Variance analysis of results to budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
β’ Support Finance and Business teams in the preparation of annual budgets and related business plans.
β’ Support the cross-border consolidation of the financial data of the group entities.
β’ Financial modeling including returns and diligence for acquisitions; Debt facilities including compliance.
β’ Provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:
β’ Bachelor's degree in the field of Finance or related field and 7+ years of experience.
β’ Experience with general accounting principles and procedures, financial forecasting techniques, compiling and presenting financial analysis. Highly analytical, organized with exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Robust knowledge of Excel and ERP.
