About the Role
We are seeking a Data Architect to lead a greenfield initiative focused on building the backbone of our new Enterprise Data Warehouse and migrating our data estate to a dimensional modelling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design the end-to-end platform blueprint for the enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance from ingestion to consumption.
- →Champion Kimball dimensional modelling methodologies to design a robust, scalable schema for our new enterprise data warehouse.
- →Architect complex systems for massive scale and high-frequency streams, defining batch and streaming patterns for implementation.
- →Partner with Data Governance to select and integrate modern tooling into the platform architecture, leading the selection and implementation of our first Data Catalog and Observability tools.
- →Work with regulated domains to design patterns that efficiently meet the continuous data needs of our regulators and auditors.
- →Design systems that technically enforce the frameworks and policies owned by the Data Governance Manager.
Requirements
- ✓Experience with enterprise data architecture and platform design.
- ✓Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, particularly Kimball methodologies.
- ✓Ability to architect complex systems for massive scale and high-frequency data streams.
- ✓Knowledge of modern data tooling such as Dataform, data cataloging, and observability tools.
- ✓Experience working with regulated domains and designing systems to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
