Staff Product Manager, AI-Powered Workflows at Vanta

As a Staff Product Manager at Vanta, you will define the vision, strategy, and execution for a highly AI-centric workflow builder and execution engine. This platform will enable Vanta to serve our most complex enterprise use cases while opening up an entirely new class of automation and extensibility across the product. This is a true 0→1 initiative with meaningful strategic upside: executed well, it becomes a core pillar of how Vanta scales upmarket, deepening our competitive moat. This role offers a rare opportunity to build a net-new strategic product from the ground up, working at the cutting edge of AI to unlock automation for complex compliance workflows and shape Vanta’s future with enterprise customers. What you’ll do as a Staff Product Manager, AI Workflows at Vanta: - Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Vanta's AI-centric workflow builder - Conduct rigorous AI evaluations and performance assessments, continuously analyzing data to optimize AI-powered features - Partner deeply with Engineering and AI teams to design the technical architecture for workflow orchestration at scale - Partner closely with teams across Vanta to understand all potential use cases and distill a clear direction for impact - Drive product discovery with upmarket customers to understand their custom compliance workflow needs and translate them into product requirements - Lead cross-functional execution to deliver the workflow builder, managing dependencies across multiple teams and ensuring timely delivery of this strategic initiative - Establish measurement frameworks and success metrics to track product adoption, AI performance, and customer value How to be successful in this role: - Have 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years building AI-powered products and 2 years working on workflow, orchestration, or automation platforms - Bring experience and drive to ship AI-powered products, including rapid experimentation, rigorous evaluation, and LLM prompt tuning to ensure high product quality - Demonstrate proven experience designing and shipping workflow engines, orchestration platforms, or automation tools; you understand the technical architecture required to bring these systems to life - Possess the ability to set product vision and strategy for a major product, with strong frameworks for making complex tradeoffs and prioritization decisions - Show experience building products for upmarket customers with complex, custom requirements and the ability to balance product flexibility with scalability - Demonstrate a strong track record influencing and collaborating with Engineering, Design, AI/ML, and GTM teams to drive product outcomes - Communicate excellently both written and verbally, to effectively communicate ideas, requirements, and product vision to team members, stakeholders, and executives - Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact What you can expect as a Vanta’n: - Industry-competitive salary and equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans - 16 weeks fully-paid Parental Leave for all new parents - Health & wellness stipend - Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend - Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office - Family planning benefits - Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting - Flexible PTO policy, plus 80 hours of Sick Time - 11 company-paid holidays - Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events! - Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
