About the Role
Vast is seeking an Information Systems Support Specialist to support the development of systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This role involves providing technical support to internal employees and ensuring systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as an escalation point for IS Support specialists and between IS support team and TPMs
- →Provide advanced troubleshooting for enterprise applications (ERP, MES, PLM)
- →Manage IAM Groups and provisioning
- →Lead small-to-medium IT projects
- →Develop project plans and execute with minimal oversight
- →Mentor junior IT technicians
- →Develop and maintain technical documentation
- →Identify recurring issues and implement scalable solutions
- →Assist in developing IT standards and operational playbooks
- →Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
- →Develop scripts and automation solutions
- →Improve onboarding/offboarding efficiency through automation
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in IT or Information Systems support
- ✓Proven experience with ITSM tools
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and application support skills
- ✓Strong attention to detail and proactivity
