About the Role
Veeam Software is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new account opportunities to support the channel and sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Generate new demand for the channel and sales organization to pursue
- →Qualify marketing-generated demand against established criteria
- →Discover, validate, and reach out to additional members of a buying group
- →Nurture prospects for field, inside, or channel sales
- →Track and manage account information, prospecting, and qualification activities in Salesforce
- →Reach and have meaningful conversations with targeted buyer personas
- →Make a high level of outbound calls
- →Penetrate organizations with Veeam products
- →Coordinate sales activities within the Veeam team
- →Develop and maintain knowledge of Veeam Software and related products
- →Meet monthly KPIs
- →Participate in call out days and events
- →Participate in ongoing enablement around product releases and sales methodology
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree (education and experience combination considered)
- ✓Previous sales experience, ideally in high-tech products/services
- ✓Outbound calling and/or Revenue Development Representative experience
- ✓Technical education and understanding of storage backup, cloud backup, and related industry manufacturers
- ✓Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- ✓Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
- ✓Knowledge of social media and social selling best practices
- ✓Collaboration across internal teams
- ✓Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Knowledge of basic business research tools (LinkedIn, Google, Salesforce, Hoovers)
- ✓Excellent correspondence skills (Outlook, Instant Messaging, phone)
