The Role
Veeva is looking for an Account Partner with cloud software experience to drive sales of Vault applications at pharmaceutical companies in Japan. The Account Partner will be responsible for generating opportunities, winning new business, and managing strategic relationships within pharmaceutical companies

Candidates should have experience working with multi-national corporations (MNCs) and an ability to collaborate with internal colleagues across regions in both Japanese and English. Understanding of the life science industry, enterprise software sales cycle and an ability to successfully communicate across various business functions and organizational levels are central to the role.
This role is required to come into office Monday to Wednesday.
What Youβll Do
β’ Understand and present Veeva products and inspire prospect interest
β’ Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, and C level
β’ Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
β’ Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals
β’ Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
β’ Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges
β’ Proactively learn product, and life science business knowledge, and continuously build relationships within the industry
β’ Proactively coordinate Veeva internal team communication (Arrange meetings, create meeting minutes, manage schedules, set agenda, etc.)
β’ Proactively coordinate customer contacts within Japan (Keep track of their opinions, arrange meetings, create meeting minutes, manage schedules, set agenda, etc.)
β’ Act with urgency, integrity and a focus on the customer
Requirements
β’ At least 2 years of experience selling enterprise software and related services
β’ Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
β’ Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
β’ Strategic account planning and execution skills
β’ Experience with accounts with global operations preferred
β’ Experience with complex selling cycles - selling to CSuite, strategic, multi-threaded account strategy
β’ Native level of Japanese and Intermediate level of English
β’ Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
β’ Strong analytical and quantitative skills
β’ A passion for solving customer business problems
β’ Be willing to travel as required
