About the Role

We are looking for our first dedicated Analytics Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure that enables data engineers, analysts, and data scientists at Veriff. You will help protect honest people online by maintaining and optimizing self-hosted tools and designing AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

→Maintain and optimize self-hosted tools like Apache Airflow, Redash, and Tableau
→Design and implement AWS infrastructure across multiple regions with compliance requirements
→Build comprehensive observability for multi-region Data Lake and Data Warehouse infrastructure
→Implement FinOps practices for cost tagging, attribution, monitoring, and optimization
→Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
→Manage Kubernetes infrastructure for data platform services
→Proactively prevent issues through monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning
→Participate in on-call rotation and resolve infrastructure incidents

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering
✓Deep expertise with AWS services, especially data-related infrastructure
✓Strong Terraform/Infrastructure as Code experience
✓Ability to design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot containerized applications
✓Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki
✓Ability to script and automate using Python and other languages
✓Understanding of data platform concepts: data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines
✓Experience implementing AWS IAM best practices, security controls, and compliance requirements
✓Experience working in international teams with excellent English communication skills
✓Ownership of infrastructure components and independent improvement drive
