Digital Sales is central to Visaβs mission of becoming a world class B2B sales organization. We drive scalable, flexible, and data driven revenue growth across Asia Pacific by empowering Digital Sales Representatives (DSRs), Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and cross functional teams such as B2B marketing, Client Success, Risk Management, Portfolio and Product teams, with modern, digital first selling motions and agentic workforce strategy.  
As our engagement volumes grow and our GTM model accelerates, we are building agentic AI powered systems that operate directly inside real sales and client facing workflows β helping sellers reduce manual work, make better decisions and execute at scale.  
What an AI Engineer, Digital Sales does at Visa: 
The AI Engineer will be the technical owner of the AI agents, orchestration logic, workflow automations, and generative tools that enhance seller productivity across AP and all supporting functions executing under the Tier 3 segment.  
This role will architect and deploy multi-step AI driven capabilities that: 
β’ Reduce manual work across sales and operations 
β’ Improve speed-to-client and decision quality 
β’ Surface insights, signals and recommended actions at scale 
β’ Operate reliably inside Visaβs enterprise sales ecosystem  
This is a new capability that we bring as part of our digital operating model roll out and will be in close alignment with the respecting business teams under the Digital Sales Organisation.  
The key strategic mandate for the AI Engineer will be to sustain a high velocity, digital led selling model in AP by: 
β’ Designing AI agents that act as teammates within sales workflows  
β’ Monitoring adoption, trust, and performance of the agentic workforce  
β’ Reporting measurable impact on productivity, velocity, volume, and capacity  
β’ Linking AIdriven capabilities to cost efficiency and operating leverage efficiencies
Key Responsibilities 
1. Build & Own AI Agents for Digital Sales Org Productivity 
β’ Design, develop, and own multi-step AI agents that support Digital Sales DSRs, BDRs, Market Development, and cross functional teams. 
β’ Integrate AI tools with Visa systems (Dynamics, Eloqua, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, Customer 360, Compass/Highspot, Client Hub, VIK Central, etc.). 
β’ Create client ready content generation capabilities (briefs, insights packs, outreach messages, summaries).ready content generation capabilities (briefs, insights  packs, outreach messages, summaries), embedded directly into seller workflows. 
β’ Collect business requirements from sales and supporting teams and translate them into agent based system designs and delivery roadmaps. 
2. Automate and Re-Engineer Sales and & Operational Workflows 
β’ Identify high impact, repeatable workflows across Digital Sales and automate them using AI, orchestration platforms, or code based solutions. 
β’ Break down complex and unstructured sales and operational processes into clear phases and redesign them using AI=-as teammate principles  
β’ Build data driven pipelines to surface insights (signals, personas, recommended plays, next best actions). 
β’ Scale internal tooling that accelerates lead routing, account research, outreach sequencing, performance reporting, and opportunity qualification, deal progression and business rhythm. 
3. Establish AI Technical Standards & Governance 
β’ Develop best practices, reusable components, and governance frameworks for AI powered sales motions. 
β’ Ensure responsible AI implementation aligned with Visaβs enterprise grade security, privacy, and risk frameworks. 
β’ Manage documentation, code repositories, model lifecycle processes, and operational playbooks. 
4. Cross Functional Partnership for Enterprise Grade Delivery 
β’ Collaborate closely with Product, DS COE, Technology, Operations, Data Science, and Risk partners to ensure secure and compliant delivery. 
β’ Act as the technical SME and translator for non-technical stakeholders, explaining AI trade-offs, system behavior and impact.   
β’ Partner with Sales Excellence and AI Champion Community to drive adoption, enablement and continuous improvement. 
5. Continuity, Maintenance & Evolution of AI Tools 
β’ Own monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and model/tool updates. 
β’ Implement continuous improvement cycles based on user feedback, usage patterns, and performance metrics. 
β’ Establish and leverage existing dashboard for agentic workforce utilization, tooling adoption, and performance improvement attainment based on utilization by the teams 
β’ Ensure seamless handover, scaling, and sustainability of tools deployed across AP. 
6. Systems Integration, Reliability & Architecture 
β’ Design APIfirst, eventdriven workflows across CRM, data platforms, and internal services. 
β’ Ensure reliability, observability, retries, and failure handling across AIdriven systems. 
β’ Own data transformations, writeback logic, and synchronization across multiple enterprise systems
