About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud FinOps Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on implementing cloud & AI cost management and optimization strategies across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze cloud usage and cost trends, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization
- →Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cloud resources, including right-sizing of compute, storage, database, and other services
- →Work closely with project teams to establish and manage cloud budgets, ensuring alignment with organization OKRs
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast future cloud & AI usage and costs for existing workloads and new projects
- →Engage with Cloud service providers to negotiate favorable pricing and contractual terms
- →Establish and enforce cloud & AI cost management policies, guidelines, and best practices
- →Implement monitoring mechanisms to track cloud & AI costs in real time
- →Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate cost-related insights
Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of multiple cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud)
- ✓Experience with AI tools and LLM providers
- ✓Strong analytical skills for cost analysis and optimization
- ✓Ability to develop financial models for cloud cost allocation
- ✓Experience with budget management and forecasting
- ✓Understanding of cloud resource utilization and cost tracking
- ✓Vendor negotiation experience
- ✓Familiarity with industry trends in cloud services and pricing models
