About the Role
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Visa Cloud platform team. This critical role focuses on maximizing system availability through proactive and reactive measures, building robust technical support, and automation to minimize incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify and support all platform and user operations related to Visa Cloud Platform services
- →Solve platform user and reliability issues on a daily basis
- →Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and investigate root causes
- →Partner with software and systems engineers to ensure services and systems are highly stable and performant
- →Collaborate with team members on managing end-to-end availability and performance of mission-critical services
- →Work in a 24/7/365 operation model with shift or on-call support requirements
Requirements
- ✓Strong communication skills with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- ✓Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and Container as a service platforms
- ✓Advanced troubleshooting abilities
- ✓Experience in cloud platform environments
- ✓Ability to work in a hybrid position with potential for shift work or on-call support
