About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Tools Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role combines tooling administration with long-term growth into platform engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- →Administer and improve internal engineering tools including Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace
- →Manage user onboarding/offboarding and permissions
- →Support engineering teams in troubleshooting issues with Jira and Confluence
- →Improve documentation, workflows, and processes
- →Implement automation to simplify repetitive admin requests
- →Ensure the health and reliability of shared engineering knowledge systems
- →Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- →Contribute to our internal platform used across Tink
- →Work with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Buildkite, GitHub, Go, and Java
- →Enhance platform reliability, observability, and developer experience
- →Support teams in shipping scalable, secure, high-quality services
Requirements
- ✓Experience administering engineering tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- ✓Strong understanding of documentation, workflows, and process improvement
- ✓Ability to implement automation for administrative tasks
- ✓Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- ✓Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Buildkite, GitHub, Go, and Java
- ✓Experience with infrastructure as code and Kubernetes-based environments
- ✓Skills in observability and operational excellence
- ✓This role is perfect for someone strong in tooling administration today, who wants to grow into a Developer Productivity / SRE / Platform Engineering path. The position is hybrid with expectations of days in the office to be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
