About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Consultant Software Engineer at Authorize.net to lead the development of new features and modernize our systems. This role involves translating business problems into technical solutions and driving cross-team features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive technical direction for key cross-team and cross-product development projects
- →Establish software development standards and best practices
- →Ensure alignment across all relevant project teams
- →Provide leadership in solution design discussions
- →Mentor and build high-performing engineering teams
- →Apply solution design best practices to increase execution velocity
- →Develop secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric, and global solutions
- →Design cloud-native architectures and drive AWS-based modernization initiatives
- →Define deployment approaches in collaboration with peers
- →Optimize the use of Visa’s platforms and solutions
- →Demonstrate thought leadership through presentations and teaching
- →Contribute to key technology initiatives across Visa and CyberSource
Requirements
- ✓Solid track record of delivering scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions
- ✓Hands-on technical leadership experience
- ✓Experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM
- ✓Knowledge of C# or other modern programming languages
- ✓Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Ability to mentor engineers in technical approaches
- ✓Understanding of API & User Experience development and data schemas
- ✓Experience with containerizing applications and microservices architecture
- ✓Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to cloud platforms
