About the Role

We are looking for versatile, curious, and energetic Software Engineers to join Visa's Technology Organization. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a multi-functional development team creating software products for a global customer base, focusing on payment technology and digital transactions.

Key Responsibilities

→Collaborate with software engineers, security specialists, DevOps engineers, and other professionals to build Open VisaNet
→Work in an agile cross-functional development team combining development, test/QA, and analysis/design skills
→Contribute to building key elements of the authorisation application using a proprietary internal rules language and Go in a Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes micro-services environment
→Provide guidance to agile team members and act as the design authority
→Shape best practices and ways of working within the team
→Maintain stakeholder relationships with internal partners and mentor junior team members
→Understand and work with ISO Transaction Formats and complex business scenarios

Requirements

✓Experience working across the full spectrum of software development, including requirements gathering, design, development, QA, and deployment
✓Comfortable working/leading on multiple workstreams
✓Strong Software Engineering credentials with a goal of increasing payment industry knowledge and experience
✓Exposure to technologies like Go, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a deep understanding of one or more
✓Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and payment industry intricacies
✓Ability to understand complex interactions between ISO Transaction Formats and business scenarios
