About the Role
The Director of Engineering in the Risk and Security Solutions (RAS) Product Development team will lead technology strategy and execution for Visa's Integrated Risk Platform, supporting products like Visa Enhanced Authentication and Decision Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and drive enterprise engineering and cloud strategy aligned with business goals
- →Lead adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI across the SDLC
- →Provide senior technology leadership for cloud-first platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- →Establish modern engineering excellence standards including CI/CD automation and architectural standards
- →Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams
- →Partner with Product, Security, and Governance leaders to define roadmaps
- →Drive delivery of secure, interoperable platforms and products
- →Communicate technical vision to executives and stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Experience leading technology strategy and execution in financial services
- ✓Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Expertise in AI/ML technologies, particularly Generative and Agentic AI
- ✓Proven track record in CI/CD automation, DevOps, and architectural standards
- ✓Leadership experience in building and mentoring engineering teams
- ✓Ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Governance teams
- ✓Excellent communication skills for technical leadership and stakeholder management
