About the Role

Visa is seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer and Platform Solution Architect to join their Technology Organization. This role involves working on complex distributed systems and solving massive scale problems centered on new payment flows, business and data solutions, cyber security, and B2C platforms.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade SaaS applications using Python, C#, JavaScript, and modern full stack technologies
→Lead the architecture, design, and hands-on development of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and custom applications
→Develop, customize, and enhance ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform capabilities
→Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
→Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and supporting technologies
→Apply strong software engineering principles to ServiceNow development
→Perform code reviews, design reviews, and technical mentoring
→Troubleshoot complex system issues and conduct root cause analysis
→Ensure security, compliance, and governance by following platform best practices
→Create and maintain technical documentation
→Stay current with ServiceNow releases and modern development practices
→Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

✓8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, C#, and Full Stack Development
✓Secondary expertise in ServiceNow platform development
✓Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and supporting technologies
✓Experience with enterprise-grade SaaS applications
✓Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance best practices
✓Ability to work in a hybrid role with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time
