About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Vitalize, a company transforming hospital staffing operations through intelligent automation. As the 2nd product designer, you'll help reduce manual work in nurse staffing and modernize how hospitals operate.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design core desktop and mobile interfaces for nurse scheduling and hospital operations
- →Partner with engineers during the design process
- →Create and maintain reusable components in Figma
- →Improve design systems structure for scalability
- →Conduct user research with nurses and clinical leaders
- →Travel to customer sites for in-person research and workflow observation
- →Run ongoing research and feedback loops post-launch
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of product design experience with complex or workflow-heavy products, ideally in B2B SaaS
- ✓Strong UX instincts with attention to details and visual taste
- ✓Experience in creating design systems
- ✓Comfort with research and travel to customer sites
- ✓Ownership mindset from discovery through delivery
- ✓Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
