About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join Wabtec Corporation, a leading global provider of equipment and digital solutions for rail and transit markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting manual and automated testing on software applications to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and update scripts to automate testing processes
- →Identify, analyze, and document test results
- →Work with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies
- →Verify that software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
- →Perform post-release and post-implementation testing
- →Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues
- →Confirm and validate identified defects
- →Maintain and improve automated scripts
- →Assess and implement new tools and technologies
Requirements
- ✓Less than 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer
- ✓Experience in Manual Testing/Black Box testing
- ✓Hands-on experience in Python programming
- ✓Experience with requirements tracing, defect tracking, and Test management tools
- ✓Familiarity with testing techniques like BVA, equivalent partitioning, and Pair Testing
- ✓Familiarity with methodologies such as V&V, Agile, and Waterfall
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ✓Master’s in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
