About the Role
We are looking for an APAC Finance Business Partner to join the Wabtec team. This role will provide financial support and operational leadership to ensure the ongoing sustainable success of the business across multiple regions including China, South Korea, ANZ, India, and Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support financial activities related to operational processes including financial analysis and reporting, month-end close activities, and inventory reporting
- →Serve as financial support to operational teams such as Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, and Controlling
- →Prepare scorecards on a daily basis and variance reports based on actual costs vs budget
- →Prepare inventory analysis and reconciliations as requested
- →Collaborate with internal and external audit requirements
- →Adhere to internal controls and SOX compliance
- →Support in-country statutory tax requirements and compliance
- →Collaborate with additional reports, analysis, and activities requested by operations and corporate finance
- →Support ERP implementation for the region
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- ✓Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a financial position
- ✓Knowledgeable in US GAAP and IFRS
- ✓Controllership experience in a multinational company
- ✓Information systems/ERP system experience
- ✓Ability to operate in a complex environment and handle risk and uncertainty
- ✓Strong commitment to business ethics and integrity
- ✓Good communication in Chinese, Singapore, and English desirable
- ✓Preferably experienced working in a Carve-out and Integration environment
