About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Wave's Platform team. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining the backend ecosystem that powers Wave’s services, ensuring a standardized, secure, and developer-friendly platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Standardize shared components across the organization
- →Architect frameworks for real-time and background messaging between services
- →Create and maintain libraries that wrap shared components for easy integration
- →Oversee regular updates for backend components to ensure compatibility
- →Lead complex cross-team migrations and architectural reviews
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of professional background in backend engineering with a focus on platform or shared services
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- ✓Experience in building reusable software libraries and frameworks
- ✓Deep expertise in Python(Django) and containerization tools
- ✓Proficiency in designing and scaling inter-service communication methods
- ✓Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS-native services
- ✓Architectural design skills with GraphQL gateway experience
- ✓Exceptional written and oral communication skills
