Weave is a company with a tight product-market fit and a customer-obsessed culture. The Product Team at Weave operates under a development model in which each product manager is expected to lead their team through the stages of product development: discovery, execution, go-to-market, and iteration. We strive for high autonomy and high alignment through clear goals, outcome-based planning, and tight collaboration with engineering, design, support, and GTM teams.
In this role, the Senior Product Manager, Scheduling Platform, will own one of Weave's most strategic product areas: the platform capabilities that power scheduling across our products and workflows. This role focuses on improving the flexibility, reliability, and scalability of our scheduling foundation while defining and enabling new capabilities that support multiple teams, products, and use cases. Scheduling sits at the center of Weaveβs product experience. The platform that powers it directly impacts our ability to deliver customer value, support integrations, and expand into more advanced workflows. The right candidate will lead the next phase of platform improvements to make scheduling easier to build on and integrate with across the business.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Weaveβs Scheduling Platform
- Lead product discovery for platform-related problems by understanding how users solve problems today, exploring emerging technologies, and identifying where new capabilities can meaningfully improve outcomes for Weave customers
- Partner with internal product teams (consumers) to understand their needs and identify common opportunities for new platform capabilities
- Prioritize the platform roadmap and drive execution, making clear calls on risk, sequencing, and business value, and break work into staged deliveries that provide early value while progressing toward longer-term platform improvements
- Partner closely with engineering to guide platform investments and phased execution
- Communicate platform decisions, their risks, and business impact to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Partner with integrations, feature teams, and other product areas to manage dependencies, data contracts, and shared platform evolution
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO ACCOMPLISH THE JOB
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with meaningful ownership of a platform, infrastructure-adjacent, integration-heavy, or otherwise technical product area
- Strong product judgment and the ability to define reusable capabilities rather than just fulfill one-off requests
- Ability to operate independently, make sound decisions, and create clarity in ambiguous environments
- Strong execution skills and a track record of driving complex cross-functional work from problem definition through delivery
- Ability to partner credibly with senior engineers on technical tradeoffs and long-term platform decisions
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain why technical platform work matters to the business
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, analytics, support, go-to-market teams, and peer product managers
- Good judgment on when to invest in durable foundations and when to avoid overbuilding
- Familiarity with API design and API contract thinking
- Familiarity with integration constraints and the needs of downstream consumers
- Comfort reading API documentation, technical specs, and system design discussions
- Ability to use data and observability tools to understand platform health and behavior, such as Grafana
WHAT WILL MAKE US LOVE YOU
- You bring strong empathy for platform consumers, informed by prior ownership of customer-facing features
- Experience with scheduling, booking, calendar, recurrence, availability, or workflow systems
- Experience with integration-heavy products that span multiple systems or data sources
- Experience in healthcare technology or similarly operationally complex and compliance environments
- Familiarity with AI-powered products and workflows (e.g., generative AI, agentic systems) and how they can be applied to improve customer-facing experiences
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL concepts
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and tradeoffs
- Familiarity with eventual consistency and data reliability concerns
