About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer to lead the design and evolution of frontend systems for a sophisticated writing and editing platform. This role involves building scalable UI architectures that support complex workflows and rapid product iteration.

Key Responsibilities

→Define and own frontend architectural standards for a large, evolving product
→Design modular, extensible UI systems for complex editing and collaboration features
→Drive decisions around state management, rendering strategies, and performance optimization
→Build polished user-facing features using modern frontend technologies
→Shape backend API contracts that are frontend-friendly and scalable
→Set a high bar for code quality, documentation, and testing
→Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through design discussions and code reviews
→Prototype quickly and validate ideas in fast-moving environments

Requirements

✓7+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
✓Deep expertise in frontend engineering and architecting complex UI systems
✓Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
✓Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalable frontend patterns
✓Solid backend fundamentals including API design and service integration
