The Platform Engineer is responsible for configuring, deploying, and validating Pantheon-based technology solutions that directly support client delivery operations. Working under the technical guidance of a Solutions Architect, this role executes build tasks in Pantheon and supports user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless operational adoption. The Platform Engineer collaborates closely with Integration Operations, Delivery teams, and cross-functional technical stakeholders to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with project requirements.
This role is hands-on, execution-focused, and ideal for a technically fluent problem-solver who thrives in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Setup & Deployment
•Setup, configure, and validate Pantheon solutions - including CSG templates, Program designs, automation agents, and integrations - based on the design and implementation plan provided by the Solutions Architect.
•Execute API endpoint integrations and support data exchange between internal systems and external tooling.
•Build and maintain reusable components, scripts, and configuration templates to improve delivery efficiency.
•Update SOPs and documentation for accuracy and knowledge sharing.
Agile Task Execution
•Fulfill assigned development and configuration tasks within an Agile framework.
•Review Kanban boards, sprint timelines, and backlog items; proactively claim and progress assigned work.
•Provide accurate task updates, documentation of work performed, and risk escalation where required.
Testing & Quality Assurance
•Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Operations teams to validate new solutions and enhancements.
•Conduct troubleshooting, log analysis, and issue recreation to diagnose and resolve defects.
•Support quality checks prior to production deployments, ensuring solutions meet requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Partner with Integration Operations to review and resolve bug tickets, system errors, and workflow issues.
•Collaborate with Delivery, Quality, Engineering, and Product teams to identify improvement areas, clarify requirements, and ensure solution readiness for production.
•Provide technical guidance to operations teams during rollout and early adoption periods.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
•Hands-on experience with Pantheon technology, including:
oPrograms
oClient Service Group (CSG) settings
oAgent routes
oPantheon SDK
•Ability to execute and test API endpoints, including request construction, authentication, and response validation.
•Proficiency in JSON for configuring settings and payload manipulation.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex issues without documentation, using logs, system behavior, and technical intuition.
Professional Skills:
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced technical environment.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks within Agile workflows, including Kanban and sprint-based planning.
