About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Welo Data. This role involves supporting end-to-end delivery of multiple AI training data projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and resources are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- →Plan, launch, and run projects involving data collection, labeling, and evaluation
- →Build schedules, track dependencies, and manage changes within agreed scope
- →Apply project guidelines and SOPs; perform spot checks; coordinate feedback loops
- →Contribute to regular status touchpoints with clients; share updates, risks, and next steps
- →Forecast and request rater/annotator capacity; align shifts, handoffs, and training needs
- →Maintain risk/issue logs; run basic root-cause checks; execute mitigation plans
- →Keep trackers, dashboards, and documentation current; support PO/time entry and invoice confirmations
- →Follow SOPs and security/compliance policies; propose improvements to increase speed, quality, or cost efficiency
- →Use standard PM and data tools (spreadsheets, task boards, ticketing, basic BI)
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, data/operations, or related fields
- ✓1+ years in project/operations delivery or coordination (AI data, content review, labeling/annotation, or adjacent domains)
- ✓Strong organization and time management skills across multiple small/medium projects
- ✓Clear client/vendor communication and expectation setting abilities
- ✓Proficiency in spreadsheets, PM/task boards, and basic BI; familiarity with ETL/SQL is a plus
- ✓Consistent application of SOPs, QA checks, and change/risk logs
- ✓Ability to work independently in a remote environment; escalates when needed
