About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) Specialist to support the development, testing, and improvement of speech-to-text systems. This entry-level role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career professionals passionate about AI, machine learning, and speech technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Listen to and review transcribed audio clips
- →Accurately capture spoken English content, even when subtitles are unavailable
- →Ensure high-quality transcription with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- →Maintain consistency and attention to detail across different audio content types
- →Meet project deadlines and follow task guidelines as instructed
- →Collaborate with the project team and provide feedback on audio quality or task-related issues
Requirements
- ✓Ability to effectively listen to and speak English
- ✓Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- ✓Educational background in linguistics or experience in language teaching is a major plus
- ✓Management and/or QA experience in the data annotation industry is a major plus
- ✓Eager to learn new tools, guidelines, and processes
- ✓Capable of working independently as well as in a team setting
- ✓Good communication and collaboration skills
