About the Role
We are looking to hire a Data Analyst with experience in consulting to join our Data Analytics team at WGSN in London. This is a fixed-term role until 30th April 2027, covering the maternity leave of an existing employee.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide high quality and accurate analysis for WGSN’s clients using a variety of proprietary and external data sets
- →Collaborate closely with clients and consultants to understand their business objectives and deliver customised analysis
- →Effectively present and synthesize actionable insights that respond to clients’ needs and business questions
- →Proactively suggest ways to visualise complex data sets, generating charts/tables that give insightful views
- →Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders in the business and data teams to ensure consistency of data analysis
- →Take an active and vocal role in team meetings, putting forward new ideas and suggestions for data integration
Requirements
- ✓2-3 years of experience in a data analyst role
- ✓Experience analysing fashion retail datasets (e.g., assortment planning, demand forecasting)
- ✓Ability to explain complex datasets clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders
- ✓Strong communication and organisational skills with experience preparing and leading reports for clients
- ✓Excellent interpersonal skills comfortable to tackle work within a global team
- ✓An analytical mind, with the ability to proactively distinguish between what is important and what is not
- ✓Experience with consumer survey analysis and social media data comprehension is beneficial
- ✓Technical Experience with: Data Warehouses (Snowflake, SQL, BigQuery, etc.), SQL (must), Python/R (beneficial), Tableau (beneficial)
