About the Role
WHOOP is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join the Core team. You will build the foundations that power the WHOOP iOS app, focusing on platform capabilities, shared architecture, and reliability/performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design and implementation of core iOS platform capabilities
- →Drive technical planning for initiatives, including scoping and sequencing work
- →Deliver high-quality, member-facing iOS features in Swift
- →Improve app reliability, performance, and maintainability
- →Establish and evolve shared engineering standards
- →Mentor and support other engineers
Requirements
- ✓Significant experience building native iOS applications
- ✓Strong proficiency with Swift and iOS frameworks
- ✓Experience leading technical planning and delivery for iOS initiatives
- ✓Strong foundation in iOS performance and reliability fundamentals
- ✓Experience integrating mobile apps with backend services
- ✓Familiarity with common iOS tooling and workflows
- ✓Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions
