About the Role
We are looking for a FinCrime Operations Analyst - Sanctions to join our growing Sanctions Screening team in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on protecting customers and Wise by assessing sanctions alerts and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Follow operational procedures on sanctions alert handling for all alert types, including documenting the decision rationale
- →Perform analysis of potential matches against sanctions lists alerted through sanctions screening of customers and transactions
- →Escalate alerts that may raise any potential reporting requirements
- →Communicate with customers when further information is required as part of reviewing against sanctions lists
- →Provide inputs to refine automated sanctions screening risk methodology, reduce false positives, mitigate sanctions risks and improve customer experience
