About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer to join the Servicing Platform team at Wise. This role focuses on building risk management systems that ensure compliance and enable secure money transfers across borders.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and implement solutions for real-time transaction monitoring and data analysis
→Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to enhance risk assessment systems
→Develop and maintain highly reliable and scalable risk engine solutions
→Optimize database performance and schema design for both relational and non-relational databases
→Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality through test-driven development

Requirements

✓6+ years of experience with Java or another JVM-based language
✓Proficiency in the Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC
✓Experience with distributed and concurrent systems
✓Strong database skills including query optimization and schema design
✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
✓Commitment to writing testable, high-quality code and following best coding practices
