About the Role
The Fraud team at Wise is dedicated to safeguarding our platform against financial crime and ensuring the protection of our legitimate customers. This role focuses on developing and enhancing fraud detection systems using cutting-edge machine learning and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- โLead the development and deployment of machine learning models, including neural networks, anomaly detection, graph-based models, and Transformers
- โMentor team members and promote adoption of AI workflows for automation
- โCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into fraud prevention product offerings
- โDevelop scalable deployment strategies and integrate LLMs with AI agents
- โConduct large-scale training and hyper-parameter tuning
- โDesign and implement strategies for data collection, curation, and augmentation
- โCommunicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- โStrong background in machine learning and data science
- โExperience with neural networks, anomaly detection, and graph-based models
- โKnowledge of Transformers and LLMs
- โAbility to develop scalable deployment strategies
- โExperience with data collection, curation, and augmentation
- โExcellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
