About the Role
Workato is seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Developer to join their growing Engine team. This role involves developing and maintaining systems related to Workato Recipe runtime, focusing on performance, scalability, and data protection.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build, extend, troubleshoot, and fix complex GOlang applications and microservices
- →Improve execution engine for custom third-party code
- →Write well-designed, testable, efficient GOlang code
- →Integrate data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, and Kafka
- →Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- →Provide code reviews to teammates
- →Evaluate and propose system improvements
- →Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions
- →Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
- ✓Strong understanding of web application building blocks: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring
- ✓Good understanding of network protocols and stacks
- ✓Good understanding of DB technologies: classic databases and modern NoSQL
- ✓Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
- ✓Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills
- ✓BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 7+ years of industry experience
