About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support the development of online sensor calibration algorithms for our next-generation autonomous driving system at Woven by Toyota. This role involves designing, implementing, and delivering advanced sensor calibration solutions that ensure reliability and quality for Toyota production vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead the design, implementation, and delivery of next-generation online sensor calibration algorithms
- βEstablish validation pipelines to ensure calibration accuracy meets Toyota product specifications
- βOptimize sensor calibration algorithms for runtime, accuracy, and robustness within limited computational resources
- βCollaborate with vehicle engineers and operators to ensure exceptional sensor calibration quality
- βOperate within a high-velocity environment using agile development practices
- βWork within a hybrid workspace model requiring physical presence in our Ann Arbor office three days per week
Requirements
- βMinimum of three years of industrial experience in computer vision or related field
- βExpertise in sensor calibration for IMU, LiDAR, Camera, or Radar
- βProficiency in C++ and Python programming languages
- βExperience in constructing a comprehensive sensor calibration stack for autonomous driving systems
- βDeep understanding of autonomous driving sensors including Camera, LiDAR, Radar, and IMU
- βAbility to develop testable and modular code for a robust production environment
- βExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
