About the Role
We are looking for a Data Platform Intern to join our team at Woven by Toyota, enabling Toyotaβs transformation into a mobility company. This role focuses on accelerating autonomous driving by providing access to petabytes of data collected by our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, build, maintain, optimize and support large scale, cloud-native data ingestion, data storage, data processing and data serving systems.
- βUnderstand the complex data requirements of modern ML development and tailor our data ecosystem to these needs.
- βGain practical experience working with other Data Infrastructure engineers, Site Reliability engineers, ML Platform engineers, Computer Vision and ML engineers on high-impact projects.
Requirements
- βCurrently pursuing a Bachelorβs or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar numerate discipline.
- βProficiency in developing with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python
- βApplied knowledge and understanding of engineering first principles
- βBasic working knowledge of cloud applications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- βBasic knowledge of Serverless Data Warehouse e.g., BigQuery/Snowflake
- βStrong written and verbal communication skills
