About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SRE Engineer to join our team at Woven by Toyota, contributing to Toyota's transformation into a mobility company once in a century. The mission is to enhance the productivity and efficiency of developers across Woven by Toyota and Toyota as a whole, prioritizing safety and accelerating development speed through cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- โDesign and develop observability features for engineering platform users, providing implementation support
- โDemonstrate technical leadership through supporting technical judgments, contributing to roadmap planning, promoting team collaboration, and continuous mentoring
- โParticipate in on-call duties for incident monitoring and response (8-hour shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays; remote support available)
- โProvide Level 2 support for user requests, including troubleshooting related to product usage
- โImplement blameless post-mortems from incidents and work to improve service reliability through code
- โReduce operational toil through automation, enhancing efficiency for development and operations teams
Requirements
- โ7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud engineering, observability engineering, or backend development
- โIntermediate to advanced skills in programming languages like Go and Python, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- โIntermediate to advanced knowledge of APM solutions and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring
- โIntermediate to advanced expertise in public cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
- โBusiness-level English proficiency
