About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems for our federal government customers. This role involves working on diverse systems including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and real-time systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- →Debug existing software and correct defects
- →Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- →Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
- →Develop or implement algorithms to meet system performance standards
- →Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- →Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models
- →Oversee software development teams to ensure work is completed according to process constraints
- →Confer with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements
- →Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning
Requirements
- ✓Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
- ✓Fourteen years' experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- ✓Four years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree
- ✓Python development skills
- ✓AWS ML certificate or knowledge implementing production scale AI/ML solutions
- ✓AWS Kubernetes understanding or Solution Architect Certification
- ✓Knowledge of AI tools and developing deep learning models
- ✓Experience with cloud infrastructure management
- ✓Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Google GEMINI, and GROK
