About the Role
We are looking for a 3D & Motion Designer to join XOXO, a research lab building the interface of intelligence for everyday life. This role involves creating a new visual language through motion and 3D content, working directly with the Founder to push brand identity forward.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design motion and 3D experiences within the consumer application, creating animations, transitions, and dimensional elements.
- →Translate digital experiences into physical and spatial representations through animated installations and product visualizations.
- →Create collateral across various channels including social media, marketing, and large-format displays.
- →Transform 2D brand systems into compelling 3D interpretations while maintaining brand coherence.
- →Collaborate with the Founder to execute brand direction across different surfaces with speed and precision.
- →Push creative boundaries within a design system's constraints to discover new possibilities.
Requirements
- ✓A portfolio demonstrating exceptional 3D design work including modeling, lighting, animation, and rendering.
- ✓Strong foundation in graphic design principles such as typography, composition, color, and layout.
- ✓Experience creating animated 3D content for brand, environmental, or experiential applications.
- ✓Ability to translate 2D design systems into 3D interpretations that maintain brand coherence.
- ✓Sharp eye for detail, material quality, and lighting to create tactile and realistic work.
- ✓Comfort working closely with a founder who has strong design opinions and leads creative direction.
