About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Operations team at ZoomInfo. This role requires blending technical skills with business acumen to manage data pipelines and build tools for data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into high-quality data solutions.
- →Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Airflow, DBT, and Python.
- →Build and maintain semantic data layers optimized for consumption by LLM-powered applications.
- →Define, monitor, and enforce data quality SLAs across all data pipelines and products.
- →Influence technical decisions by improving pipelines, table design, and reporting structure.
- →Design and develop analytical tools to assess data quality and drive continuous improvement.
- →Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices in code quality and data architecture.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ✓6+ years of progressive experience in data engineering and data analytics.
- ✓Expert-level SQL skills for building performant queries on large-scale datasets.
- ✓Strong Python programming experience.
- ✓Hands-on experience with dbt for advanced data modeling and transformations.
- ✓Deep expertise in Snowflake, including data warehouse design and performance optimization.
- ✓Strong understanding of data architecture concepts such as data lakes, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architectures.
- ✓Proven analytical skills focused on translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
- ✓Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
