The Senior Financial Analyst is a key position that will work closely with the SVP of FP&A, Director of FP&A, and other key department leaders to create, define, implement, evolve, and report on Zoominfoβs key metrics and processes, ranging from budget building to results reporting and everything in between. Weβll be looking for you to identify trends, drive monthly review meetings, and make recommendations on what we can do to improve and execute better going forward.
Youβll play a key role in creating and updating our budgets and forecasts, analyzing company performance, and working on special projects from the CEO, CFO, and the Board. This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, superb analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with others at the company. Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
β’ Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts
β’ Build and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and strategic decision making
β’ Apply experience working with financial statements to develop and fine-tune P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow modeling
β’ Build or enhance financial models related to aspects of our business including workforce, technology, facilities, cloud hosting, and other operating expenses
Business Partnering
β’ Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing financial guidance on business initiatives, investments, and cost optimization
β’ Support HR and Operations with workforce planning, compensation modeling, and productivity analysis, ensuring accurate financial planning
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases, ROI, and resource allocation decisions
β’ Create and enhance dashboards for executive leaders and their teams, including identifying key metrics and creating outputs to show trends and anomalies
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional organizations to identify and solve business problems
Reporting & Analysis
β’ Develop and run a regular cadence for reviewing financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, KPIs, dashboards and results with each team, including deep dive reviews, insights, and recommendations
β’ Analyze trends in margin, labor, operating expenses, and other financial metrics
β’ Take on a wide array of special projects and succinctly communicate the results to an executive audience
β’ Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements
β’ Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability
β’ Support implementation or optimization of financial systems while maintaining strong data governance practices
Qualifications
β’ MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred; Bachelorβs degree in business, economics, finance or accounting, or equivalent experience required
β’ 6+ years of strong analytical experience in a financial planning or business analysis role
β’ Advanced Excel skills are required
β’ Advanced PowerPoint skills are required
β’ Experience in a software or SaaS environment is preferred but not required
β’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization, including Executive Leadership Team
β’ Can-do attitude and ability to positively implement change
β’ Ability to work in a team environment
β’ Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
β’ Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
β’ Well organized with strong time management skills
